The beginning of 2023 has been extraordinary, I had the joy of being part as promotor of Los Cabos destination at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR 2023) in Madrid Spain, from January 16 to 20. This is one of the most important events of the worldwide tourism industry, and from Los Cabos participated  16 companies from the hotel sector, DMC, and service operators, highlighting the wide range of luxury services, wellness, nature, meetings, and adventure. With this activity, destiny estimates the arrival of about 8 thousand European tourists.

In this event, I participated with great representatives of our destination, such as Rodrigo Esponda, Los Cabos Tourism Board General Director (FITURCA), Quirino Ordaz Coppel, Mexico Ambassador in Spain, Rosa Maribel Collins, Baja California Sur Tourism Secretary, Mauricio Pérez Salicrup, the Los Cabos Hotel Association Chairman, among others.

It is a valuable experience for me to be able to bring my new art of Interactive Walls to Madrid Spain, as this place goes back to the ancient artistic expressions of the prehistoric peoples that inhabited the Hispanic peninsula of Altamira in Spain and it is very exciting to be able to converge new technologies in places with a lot of history, it really becomes very enriching.

In this new experience of Immersive Art, the viewer becomes the creator and uses his senses to form unique digital pieces.

As a contemporary artist, I understand that Immersive Art is a new way of approaching the viewer with sensations that are difficult to explain but that have a lot to do with emotions, it goes beyond what the eye is capable of seeing and transcends what one is able to feel when looking at it.

I know that man cannot live being only a spectator and has the need to create and belong to everything that surrounds us, which is why I will continue developing this type of interactive art that transports you to unique places and fills you with unimaginable emotions.

 

Este 2023 ha sido un inicio de año extraordinario, tuvimos la dicha de participar promoviendo el destino de Los Cabos en la Feria Internacional de Turismo (FITUR 2023) en Madrid España, del 16 a 20 de enero. Este es uno de los más importantes eventos de la industria turística a nivel mundial y de Los cabos participaron 16 empresas del sector hotelero, DMC y operadores de servicios, destacando la amplia oferta de servicio de lujo, wellness, naturaleza, reuniones y aventura. Con esta actividad se estima la llegada de cerca de 8 mil turistas europeos al destino.

En este evento participe con  grandes representantes de nuestro destino, como Rodrigo Esponda, director general del Fideicomiso de Turismo (FITURCA)  Quirino Ordaz Coppel, embajador de México en España, Rosa Maribel Collins, secretaria de Turismo de Baja California Sur, Mauricio Pérez Salicrup, presidente consejero del Consejo de Administración de la Asociación de Hoteles de Los Cabos, entre otros.

Es para mí una valiosa experiencia poder llevar mi nuevo arte de Muros interactivos a Madrid España, pues este lugar se remonta a las antiguas expresiones artísticas de los pueblos prehistóricos que poblaron la península hispánica de Altamira en España y es muy emocionante poder converger nuevas tecnologías en lugares con mucha historia, realmente se vuelve muy enriquecedor.

Esta nueva experiencia del Arte Inmersivo, el espectador se vuelve el creador y utilizando sus sentidos para formar  piezas digitales únicas.

Como artista contemporáneo entiendo que el Arte Inmersivo es una nueva forma de acercarse al espectador con sensaciones difíciles de explicar pero que tiene mucho que ver con las emociones, va más allá de lo que el ojo es capaz de ver y trasciende a lo que uno es capaz de sentir al contemplarla.

 

Sé que el hombre no puede vivir siendo únicamente espectador, tiene la necesidad de crear y pertenecer a todo lo que nos rodean, por eso seguiré desarrollando este tipo de arte interactivo que te transporta a lugares únicos y te llena de emociones inimaginables.
